Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right optical transceiver?

You can start by confirming the required data rate, transmission distance, fiber type, form factor, connector type and switch platform. If you are not sure which module is suitable, you can send us your switch model, required reach and quantity, and our team will help check suitable product options.

To help us respond quickly, please provide the required data rate, form factor, transmission distance, fiber type, connector type, switch brand and model, quantity and target delivery time. If you have an original part number or BOM list, you can also upload it with your inquiry.

SR modules are mainly used for short-reach multimode fiber links, commonly up to 100m over OM4. DR modules are used for single-mode fiber links, commonly up to 500m. DR+ modules are designed for extended-reach single-mode applications, such as longer data center interconnect links.

Yes. Senway OpticLink supports 400G, 800G and 1.6T optical transceiver sourcing and technical coordination, including QSFP112, QSFP-DD, OSFP, OSFP224 and OSFP800 form factors for data center, AI network, Ethernet, InfiniBand and HPC applications.

Yes. Please send us your switch brand, model, current module part number and required data rate. We will help review suitable module options and compatibility requirements before quotation or delivery.

Our product portfolio covers multiple high-speed optical transceiver form factors, including QSFP112, QSFP-DD, OSFP, OSFP112, OSFP224 and OSFP800. The correct form factor depends on your switch platform and port configuration.

Yes. Some 800G and 1.6T optical modules can support breakout applications such as 2×400G, 4×200G, 8×100G, 2×800G, 4×400G or 8×200G, depending on the module type, switch configuration and cabling system.

Common connector types include MPO-12 APC, MPO-16 APC and Dual MPO-12 APC. The correct connector depends on the optical module type, fiber infrastructure and deployment scenario.

Yes. We can help check stock availability and lead time based on your required model, quantity and delivery destination. For urgent projects, please mention your required delivery schedule when sending the RFQ.

Yes. Datasheets and technical specifications can be provided for product confirmation. For project selection, we can also help review key parameters such as data rate, reach, power consumption, connector type and application scenario.

Quotation time depends on the completeness of your requirement. If you provide the data rate, form factor, reach, connector type, switch model and quantity, we can usually review the requirement faster and provide more accurate product options.
